JSPM is a quarterly online journal published by First Promethean Publishing. The fundamental aim of this journal is to encourage the development and implementation of strategy management systems which can align energies and resources within organizations.
Strategy making can be and art and science both, but creating models which can translate well made strategies into the daily actions of employees does not need to be an art per se. Organizations which can set up and implement robust systems for alignment of employees’ daily work with their strategies are much more likely to succeed compared to other that struggle in finding this link. The journal will focus on these and associated issues to bring the research focus of academics closer to the practical problems facing managers in both public and private sectors in a rapidly changing environment.
This journal promotes a dialogue between academics and management practitioners both in public and private sectors on the issues highlighted above. The journal will keep the business community aware of new theoretical initiatives, while creating a forum for academics to present ideas.
